HOW MANY VOLUNTEERING HOURS DO I NEED PER SEMESTER?
To meet the minimum, you must complete 8 beta-sponsored hours and 10 regular hours, coming up to a total of 18 volunteering hours.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM PUT ON PROBATION THIS SEMESTER?
If you are placed on probation, then you will have to make up all of your missed hours and do more next semester. For more information on our probation policy, ask our officers!
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BETA-SPONSORED HOURS AND REGULAR HOURS?
Beta-sponsored hours are hours we, the Northview Beta Club officers, have organized a volunteer opportunity that creates a positive impact on the Johns Creek community. Regular hours are volunteer opportunities you normally will find outside of school by yourself.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF THE VOLUNTEER EVENT YOU SEND OUT IS BETA-SPONSORED OR NOT?
Simple! We usually bold, underline or highlight whether or not the volunteer event is beta-sponsored or not. However, if you are unsure, please feel free to reply to our email and ask us!
